ML Radio: The Lost Season…..

We left for a while. But we were just making moves. Loads of live shows, and some wildness. Here is what you’ve been missing. Enjoy.

04/17/2008- Hip Hop In Potomac Basement
For this night we did ML Radio live in the basement of one the residence halls at the school. We had 2 DJ’s (Neobanzia and Joe Cool) and one MC (Grey Matter). We set up on a ping-pong table and Grey Matter just started ripping freestyles over the beats Joe Cool threw on. It was real hip-hop. We taped some of the freestyling and Joe Cool’s set.

4/22/08- Ecofest (with Partners in Crime) doing “Lovers, Dreamers, and Me”
We helped a live show through our host radio station. This was some awareness for Earth Day thing. My friends Julie and Chris performed some of their songs. I got a T-Shirt.

4/30/08- A.M. Radio (The Return of Maria)
On this night I performed my role as DJ Triple Stack (my alter ego) on Alex’s show. For those that forgot Alex (pictured above) is my co-host on ML Radio. I had been standing in for his co-host (Maria [not pictured]) and she came back for one night only. Alex and Maria do most of the talking. I’m on the digital 1s and 2s. And yes, I already know I’m a bad DJ. Thats the hook of the show.

5/12/08- ML Radio (The Ruining)
To celebrate us (Me and Alex) becoming the heads of the radio station. We did an episode of ML Radio during exam week. We only ended up playing like 3 or 4 songs. Then we did a 20 minute freestyle. Pretty awful, cause I can’t rap. But somehow I ended up dissing Dice Raw, Jim Jones, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne. Some hilarious shit.
