Finally, a realistic response from the other side. Although, this being me, I found it both hilarious and sad when Prince Rakeem mentioned that U-God couldn’t get a deal anywhere, so Rza decided to sign him up himself. Oh well.

And I think “warranty checks” sounds funnier. This IS The Rza we’re talking about.

Yep, that’s the same shit I heard from folks in the industry. You cannot win in court against a record label and RZA gets more cake from his own efforts (Ghost Dog, Kill Bill, Derailed, Afro Samurai, Babylon A.D. and The Man With The Iron Fist) than he does with the Wu. This is why so many folks quit music to do films full time.

I read that last week and loved it. It’s because he can do the most that he gets the most hate from other Wu members.
