Wanted to give you guys a little heads up on a venture I’m involved with, OG Hip Hop. The best way to describe OGHH is Hip Hop meets Drudge Report. The site will aggregate all of the top hip hop & related content on the internets so you don’t have to read 398329 blogs to keep up, instead you have it in one neat portal. It will also offer somen original content, for example we just put together Hip Hop’s Top 10 Videos.
Tts a project lead by Steve Kim, myself and other noteworthy bloggers like Kevin Nottingham.
Check it out and add OGHH to your bookmarks/rss.
With Aaron on a very brief hiatus, I though I’d throw up a ML Diggin joint (the grandfather feature of Remix Tuesdays).
This track came up on random shuffle today, and I love random ass guest spots like this. Back in 2000 Nas got on a Trackmasters remix of the R&B trio 3LW’s debut single No More (Baby I’ma Do Right). In his 2 (!!) verses Nas mentions not messing with Jailbait until the subject gets older and holding down 3LW. Does anyone know the background story of why Nas got involved with this track? Thank god they didn’t get Kells to do the hook on this. For those of you not in the know, 3LW has since lost a member, and morphed into a Disney Channel staple, The Cheetah Girls.
You may remember my little rant about Spine Magazine a little bit back, well Zaid hit me up personally last week or so to let me know that they got rid of the flash setup, so props to the spine crew for going back to the drawing board so quick, the non-flash design is a huge improvement.
On the other hand XXL.com recently relaunched last week but to me it just seems to me like its just a rehash of what SOHH.com was before it got whacked into becoming a typepad blog, similar slideshow element, tabs, boxes with content.. evolutionary? maybe. revolutionary? No.

If you are not lucky enough (like ML) to get in the building for the taping of VH1’s Hip Hop Honors, come to the official screening & after party for a good cause – VH1 Save The Music Foundation. ML will be in the building.
Kardi jumps on another pop track (which is mislabeled? supposedly its Keri Hilson on that track, not the Dolls), this time he gets on fellow Konvict Muzik signee Lady Gaga’s remix to her single Just Dance.
