There are conflicting reports as to who produced this track. Xclusives Zone says it was DJ Premier and Nah Right says Streetrunner. And it doesn’t help that this song isn’t on the track list for Street Hop.
Regardless, calling this track high-energy is an understatement. “New Money”strikes a rare chord; every line is overflowing with great rhymes at breakneck speeds and the beat feels like it’s constantly escalating.
The tagged up version of “Hood Love” that leaked in August was amazing as well, though it’s missing a verse from Joell Ortiz.
