Teyana Taylor – Gonna Love Me (Remix) (ft. Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon).
I started compiling a mix of Wu-Tang R&B collabs until I saw J-Love already did it.
03 Greedo – Dear Winter.
Season’s greetings from the 03 Greedo pre-prison archive.
Rich The Kid – Splashin.
Rich The Kid singles keep me going.
Mach-Hommy – Foreword (ft. Tha God Fahim).
Newest Mach-Hommy arcana.
Lil Durk – Neighborhood Hero.
Chicago elegy.
Swizz Beatz – Cold Blooded (ft. Pusha T).
Back of the envelope math says Swizz Beatz is washed as fuck and his new album has to be feeble attempts at relevance with famous friends who donated a hook after a night of doing rich people drugs. Not so. Swizz’ Pusha T feature stands up next to any haute couture Grisela release. There are no drums and Pusha T doesn’t toss off a few verses for a check as is his wont. (Search YouTube for “featuring Pusha T” — the guy does guest appearances like Shaq does commercials.)
On here, Swizz and Pusha look back a generation and despair. They don’t ape Lil Uzi Vert; rather, they ask if they’ve failed him.
Sphere: Related ContentMick Jenkins – Gwendolynn’s Apprehension (produced by Black Milk).
Mick Jenkins quietly flexing on indie rap was a highlight of 2018.
Lil Yachty – I’m The Mac.
You’re free to disagree, but I can’t get enough of this upper atmosphere Lil Yachty album cut.
Swizz Beatz – Preach (ft. Jim Jones).
I remember New York rap.
