Sweet Jesus, has it really come to this? I mean doing a clean version is fine, but the site is called METAL LUNGIES!!!!! How the hell is an originator of Mafioso Rap gonna go and do this? Is this Oprah’s fault?!! Is his girl pregnant?!!!

The only way I see this turning out is either an album full of classics in the vein Child’s Play or Whip You With A Strap, or an album full of shit like Back Like That or Tush. I shudder in fear of the latter.

I mean what’s next… a Three 6 Mafia album where they don’t talk about Cocaine!?! A DJ Unk album with Common on it!!!!!! A Scott Storch track that doesn’t suck!!!!!

Well….some dreams come true. Check this opening track off Beanie’s new album. The raps are classic Beans, the beat is nails, and its provided by none other than Scotty Storch. But then I guess you can’t go wrong considering the sample material.

And last, but not least, check out this track I stumbled on while following links from lethal. The song is on a MySpace page so I can’t link. The rapper is Promise and the track is Tom Deleted Me (should be first and play automatically.) Some genuinely hilarious shit.

I read in TVSquad, and in XXL, that MTV is planning on launching a ‘Dancing With The Stars’ type show called ‘Rapping With The Stars’. Now I would like to know the logic behind this show, since not many details are out, dancing is a 2-person activity, rapping is generally more of a 1 activity thing (not counting working with a producer, or a rapping duo), so the execution of such a show is already looking suspect. This will be amusing (kind of like the White Rapper Show), or disastrous (ie having the Ying Yang Twins or Youngbloodz as the stars).

I get bombarded with trash music nonstop, this isn’t that. Being a sucker for GOOD minimal beats, once I heard the lyrics were pretty good, I had to post this video. A. Pinks looks like a solid MC on the come-up from Queens. After listening to some other tracks, he sounds versatile being able to switch up his flow. Check out the vid, and his MySpace.
