This gives me the heebe jeebes.  I dont know why, but anytime I imagine Condi as an actual human being it creeps me out a little.  Apparently C-Rice is nice with the keys.  Word has it Bush is gonna make a suprise guest appearance to perform “Ebony and Ivory”.  

For those who don’t know TMT breaks down the haunting story of C dogs musical career:  

In the early ’70s, our hott little teenage Rice cake was a student at the school for one summer, while her family was parked in Denver. She fell in love there with another young politician and musician by the name of Sonny Bono. Sonny and Condie fell deeply in love but had to keep it a secret from Sonny’s second wife, the famous Cher, who eventually divorced Bono because of Sonny/Condie sex tapes that she found in 1975. After Condie and Sonny’s summer of love, the two ended up never seeing each other again, per Sonny’s request, and Condie never returned to the music school. The following summer, Condie decided that she didn’t want to go to music school, because she wanted to study witchcraft instead. It’s said that, while listening to “I Got You Babe,” she conjured a spell that would cause Sonny Bono to die on January 5, 1998. Surely such prophetic madness couldn’t come true, but it did. Sonny Bono died in a tragic skiing accident on the very day.

I heard a lecture by a man named Daniel Levitin a little while ago concerning the brain and how it interacts with music.  He was saying how the brain is the only computer that can tell what a song is (in this case the tetris theme song) even if its not played with the same instrumentation.  I thought about that when I saw this at tmtd.  Then I began to think am I noticing the specific pitches of the notes or is it just my brain recognizing a specific configuration of note intervals? crazy.  

The menacing beat now coupled with menacing images.  dead presidents fo life.  

You know we’re impressed with EL here and we want to continue to push this talented cat. EL sent me two new songs, both off his upcoming free promo album, A Major Minority, out this summer. I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve heard by this budding MC so far and ML is going to continue to post new material by him as he sends it our way. Black ELement’s official site for the album is now live so there’s no excuse to not get familiar.

The end of this month can’t come soon enough. This will definitely hold us over till that Interscope release.

A lot of the tracks off of Elzhi’s mythical tour CD Euro Pass have been floating around over the last few months.  I wanted to wait for some quality versions to make a judgment, so I put in the effort (five minutes on Google) and found just what I was looking for.  

I’m tempted to say this is the most exciting rap of the year.  Every track makes me want to spark a fat bleez and bop to the beat.  Elzhi’s lyricism is as tight as ever, and Black Milk, well, fuck, hes a god.  I ordered my copy a while back here.  But it seems to be sold out.  Im sure you guys will figure somethin out.
