Only in baseball would a team would be allowed to wear a hat that is the exactly same as one used by another team, even as a part of a “throwback” uniform, it looks pretty-pretty dumb. But then again you know what they say about imitation.

If you knew your history, the reason they did this was because the Rangers used to be the Senators. This cap IS part of the Rangers history. When the Senators came into being, they had to license the cap from Tom Hicks, the owner of the Rangers. He still holds the legal rights to the names, logos, and all that for the Senators.
I know the history, and I know that they weren’t just merely copying the nationals look. But please provide an example of a team using a part of uniform as a “throwback” that is a carbon copy of a current teams uniform? I bet you can’t. In the end it’s not that serious, thanks for commentating.
