When I was in New York earlier this year interning at GIANT, I stayed with my older brother. He used to write for a bunch of rap magazines and still regularly receives promos in the mail despite the fact that he’s all but retired from rap journalism*.
Anyway, I was going through his promos and found the last two DJ Khaled albums. I was absentmindedly flipping through the CD booklets and noticed the following executive producer credits on each album.

My brother emailed me the other day to tell me he got the promo for Khaled’s latest, We Global; executive produced by Allah. Wish I was kidding.
Serious, not only does he have the streets and represent them, he’s got God and Allah on his side. Maybe they can help him make moovies.

BTW, good looks on the Method Man graphic novel. I enjoyed it…read it twice in an hour and then did a drop about Hip Hop comic books.

Khaled always looks like the biggest douchebag everytime he’s in a video or poses for a picture. I had so much respect for the dude when he dropped the Terrorist Activitey Mixtape with Tony Touch in 1998, his half of the tape murdered Tony Toca’s (imo). Then he dissappeared, only to reppear as Dj Douchebag! I don’t feel his beats, but he gets legends on his tracks … that im so hood remix is a great example
Dj Khaled always brings artist together with hot beats and hot lyrics my favorite song out is go hard, when kanye says ima tell you like George bush told me fuck ya’ll im outta here, he rips it,that song is a hit djs dont get credit for gettin projects together (making hits), so forget how someone looks in a picture or talks it’s about the work.
