It’s always fun when two of ML’s BFFs get together on a track. The Capitals game must have put Wale in a good mood because he just leaked another track off his mixtape  with 9th Wonder, Back to the Feature. What’s more, it’s the collaboration with Curren$y that someone was telling me about.

Wale and Curren$y each kick a verse of straight wordplay over a beat that I never would have expected from 9th Wonder. Rather than his usual sweeping soul sample, the beat consists of some bongo drums and what I think is a guitar; minimal, but nice. Back to the Feature is shaping up to be something special with appearances by Joell Ortiz, Drake, Bun B and Royce Da 5’9″, to name a few.

I know that Curren$y has Wale on one of his songs too, but it’s not going to be on This Ain’t No Mixtape, as far as I understand.
