Holy Ghost! – Hold On, Cover.

I’m not gonna lie… what I feel like I need in my life right now is more Drake, anything Drake. So, needless to say, I got pretty excited when I saw that Holy Ghost! had done a cover of ‘Hold On’. Playing to their strengths they deliver an ultra-synthy version of the jam (that sounds slightly less like it was created on a Casio keyboard). Check it out below:

Flatbush Zombies – Club Soda (ft. Action Bronson).

The keeper from the latest Flatbush Zombies album is “Club Soda” with Action Bronson where forgotten early 90s rap styles come out to play. It helps that the beat is the perfect crescendo to an underground rap concert.

Duck Sauce – Essential Mix.

Duck Sauce (we’re talking A-Trak and Armand Van Helden… although the condiment is maybe equally as awesome) is preparing for the release of their forthcoming album Quack, due out early next year, with a 2 hour essential mix on BBC Radio1. BBC Radio1 is known for their solid mixes (as seen in the past when we’ve mentioned Jamie XX ) and this one delivers just as solidly as we’d hoped. The mix is sprinkled with samples of their new tracks along with other jams. Check it out:
