R&B singer Banks’ debut album, Goddess, was released this week to much anticipation. We’ve been fans of Banks for a while, along with the rest of the internet, due to her soulful covers of The Weeknd and Aaliyah. “Beggin for Thread” and “Alibi” are newer tracks to note although the parts of the album that are the most solid are the tracks that were released on her 2013 EP, London. Goddess as a whole is a really solid debut, especially for someone who was selling out shows before she even had a record deal in the works.
