The majority of our readership is probably scratching their heads at the title of this entry..don’t worry we are not switching over to another language on you on that babelfish tip. But if you are Russian, your life will be changed by this clip, or if you have any Russian friends- you have the power of changing their lives by simply showing them this video. I’ve never been more proud to have been born in the Ukraine.
Shit, even if you don’t speak Russian this Rick Rosschik Hustlin’ tribute is worth a screening. Credit to WOTSM.
Something new from the last good member of the Unit. I really liked the original, and Banks definitely respects the song enough to rip it.
I’ve always thought that Lloyd Banks had what it takes to be one of the best. But as long as he stays on the Unit, and keeps releasing RnB then he’ll never get the shine he deserves. Who knows? Maybe he’ll drop a dope street album on that indie tip.
If you ML readers have been taking notes, Young Dre’s name haspopped up on a few things that we’ve mentioned this year. Now the upcoming West Coast rapper drops his own mixtape, Bigger Than Life hosted by DJ Skee. I skimmed through a few tracks, and it looks like a keeper, especially the track with the Nate Dogg hook, Can’t Be Faded. Between Young Dre & Nipsey Hussle, looks like Cali rap has some new names to check for.
New mixtape from Aftermath’s Marsha Ambrosius, produced by Focus, compiled and mixed by Don Cannon. Marsha has a great voice and Focus delivers his best production yet. The mixtape features Phonte of Little Brother, The Game and Busta Rhymes. If you need a preview, check my last post.
ML Homie Steve (of OGHipHop) passed on this piece they wrote up about a youtube producing sensation named Ronald Jenkees. What caught my eye with Richard is how musically talented he is, the way he sorta blackouts while playing on the keys.. as well as the fact he doesn’t look like anyone you would expect to make beats, check it out.
GLC did a mixtape with DJ RTC. GLC has to be on of my favorites on GOOD. This is definitely some fire from Chi town. The mixtape features Talib Kweli, Chip Tha Ripper, Soulstice, Kanye West, Consequence, John Legend, Naledge, Mikkey Halsted and more.
If you need to be schooled on Jeezy or need some of his best work in one neat package, the fine folks at Crossfaded Bacon & DJ Ayres got you covered. Highly Recommended.
