Over here at Metal Lungies we realize that our readers (and our staff) can’t get enough of those Wu-Tang albums. Unfortunately, record companies are run by bitches and we don’t get nearly enough. So, how does one get that Wu-Tang sound in lieu of any major drops. Affiliates.
Over the past years it seems like everybody and there mother is some how related to the Clan, but fortunately our Wu-Tang promoter connect, David, has blessed us with some of the finest acts coming out of the camp right now. So take a listen to some of these tracks, and pick up that Think Differently CD. Its a real good intro to the more indie clan.
Hell Razah- Razah’s Ladder
This is a wild track. The beat is a sped up sample of “Heart of the City” and the rhymes are sick. It ends with some weird guitar shit. Weird in a good way. Look out for this dude.
Sav Killz ft. Planet Asia- Champion Rap
The rapping here is pure gold. Planet Asia murders it, as always, and Sav holds it down something fierce. Who is this on the beat? Shit is sick.
S.I.C.- I Am the Gun
I love this sound. Hard ass raps about selling dope, over some shit that sounds like old RZA. Classic.
Look out for some interviews with these dudes coming up real soon. Also check for that Podcast next Tuesday (We couldn’t do it this week because of server issues). Looks to be a classic.
