So, DJ Kay Slay is living up to his Drama King moniker tonight.
He just dropped a Uncle Murda/Jay-Z track going at Fat Joe & DJ Khaled (who gets one bar- “Your off-beat DJ”, wasn’t Jay-Z just talking to him a few days ago??).
Here is a radio rip with a side of Kay Slay yelling up a storm.
Edit: Just Blaze has the origin of the track; Jay-Z verse is from Blueprint 2 era, someone was bored. Sadat X also did the hook.
Sidenote: According to a few people there was a solid Cam’ron song that Kay also dropped, we’ll keep you posted..hopefully. Annnnnnd I was supposed to post this about 45 minutes earlier but my “wonderful” Time Warner cable went down, how convenient.

Their album, Dave Ghetto and Tha S Ence are Hustle Simmons, is available worldwide.

The homeboy Sammy hit me off with some news on Halfway House, Joe Budden’s appetizer to next year’s long-awaited Padded Room. It’s due out on October 28th — I’m used to saying “in stores” when albums are due out, but this one is only being released digitally through Amalgam Digital. Along with the first single “Touch & Go”, the album will feature a track called “Slaughter House” featuring Nino Bless and “three of the hardest-hitting lyricists out now” (again, Sammy’s words, not mine).
“Slaughter House” should be leaking soon, but, in the mean time, here’s the excellent “Times Are Hard” from earlier this year — an example of what Nino and Joey can do together.
This was off Nino’s mixtape, Untold Scriptures (download it here), which also features Kool G Rap, Joell Ortiz, Styles P, Saigon, Crooked I and Grafh. Untold Scriptures, Vol. 2 should be ready by the end of the year as well.

Royce is keeping the momentum going after dropping The Bar Exam 2, he just recorded a tribute track over the TI/Rihanna track for Big Proof, who would’ve celebrated his birthday on October 2nd.
New K. Sparks featuring Jay-Z sound-a-like Angelous. He’s got some news for your ass this week:
I wanna say thanks to all of the Hip Hop websites, and blog sites that continue to show support for my music…This is a song that I recorded for a project I’m working on called The Red Tape…All of the songs on the album will be produced by Kurser…I got my family Angelous on the track and he did the damn thing…this song is essentially us just straight spittin, no auto tune, straight lyrics…Additional to the Red Tape I will also be releasing a mixtape with Angelous shortly entitled Two Worlds, once it drops I’ll make sure ya’ll get that as well.
Looking forward to both. And I fux with DJBooth.net, but how about an ML drop next time?
