I hope that doesn’t make me seem ignorant of Japanese culture — honestly, I just know what I like, and I like to laugh. And to be even more honest, I was looking for any excuse to post that Mr. Sparkle clip from The Simpsons. Can you blame me?
This short is called ‘Pound’. Yeah.. some of the moves are a little much, but its the most urban Patty Caking you will ever see. Can you imagine if Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince did this handshake instead of theirs, 60% of the running time would be handshakes.
It’s been a while since we’ve writtenanythingabout Dave Chappelle, an ML all-time favorite. Seems he is contempt on just staying on the (relative) low-low.
Something that feeds into ML being cool with him staying out of the spotlight (don’t get it twisted, we would still pay a pretty penny for some fresh Chappelle material) is exemplified in the comments of the tmz entry where the same people that were saying YEAAAHHHH!! and in their Lil Jon voice a few years back have turned on Dave for… what exactly?
Genius. I hope most of you don’t need a hint, but if you do, hopefully because you are cracked out right now.. what is each shirt missing? I’m def coping one of each.
Here at ML, to quote one Method Man, “We got love for those with love for us.” We don’t care about your culture or ethnicity — as long as y’all enjoy the site (and even if you don’t), we appreciate your visits.
All we ask for is the opportunity… which is why it hurts my heart (though, admittedly, also makes me feel kind of badass) that this website is BANNED in China. [Cocaine Blunts and The Basketball Jones, sites of which I am a fan, are also banned.] A website called Great Firewall of China allows you to enter a URL and see if that site can make it’s way through the nation’s many “watch dog” rules and regulations concerning censorship of… well, pretty much everything. I encourage any and all website operators out there to see if your site is also banned, and then we can all collectively laugh at how ridiculous the Chinese government is.
To any and all Chinese readers (either those who live elsewhere, or those of you who somehow can access this site from the homeland): Don’t be offended — it’s your nation’s government that we got issues with, not y’all.
Last.fm is a social site that tracks your music, keeps stats, gives suggestions, lets you stalk keep up on your friends music listenings, and a boat load more. I have been using it for a few years now. I just created a group on the site where you can join to contribute to the weekly stats and see what other ML readers are listening to. I don’t know what the hell took me so long to come up with the idea to make a group on Last.fm, considering my profile is an OG. Well better late than never right?
My gf (/former contributor, for you hardcore readers) tipped me off to this. That’s what the video looks like before you press play.. it scared me off so badly I wouldn’t care to view even if there was a hurricane coming.

if you may remember HM and I did RockCorps last year in DC, the concert was well worth the work, where I got to tell Ghost & his manager about the site. It’s a great program, ML approved.
