Major Lazer Ft. Santigold – Hold The Line.

Is 4.20 the new “in” day to flood the internets with dope music (as if on other days there weren’t floods of music already, ha)? Anyway, Diplo compadre Major Lazer hooks up with Santogold Santigold for this track which Lazer aptly describes as something “like a surf rock ragga thingamajig, zeen!’”. Check it out:

DJ Class – I’m The Shit (Remix) (Ft. Kanye West).

I guess it takes Kanye to bless a track with a verse to really catch on. Knobbz let me know recently that our previous post with the OG Remix of the redic club banger is one our most searched posts on google. So, it’s only right we post another remix featuring Kanye. Kinda sick to hear an auto-tuned Kanye shout out Baltimore’s legendary Unruly label.

DJ Class – I’m The Shit (Lil Jon Remix) & Trey Songz + Jermaine Dupri Remix.

The Bmore Club legend that brought the legendary Tear Da Club Up (and the only ringtone on my phone.. since like forever.), brings us more fire. These 2 remixes of his single, I’m The Shit from the forthcoming Alameda Coldspring are… well bananas (no Gwen Stefani). If you are at any party, or even a funeral.. play this.

Check the heat rock:

(Note: Remix of the same og song but the difference in name is because the remix is clean?)

Donnis – Thats What They Like.

Donnis is someone I’ve been keeping an eye on in the past few months, he’s popped up on a bunch of mixtapes (like this one). His sound is really club friendly, and I’ve liked what I’ve heard so far, here is his latest that came across to ML, thanks to Dan Solomito.

MAD MAD WORLD Episode 1: Diplo + Dark Meat by Jason Miller.

Spotted this first part of a series of shorts over at Mad Decent, it documents ML-fav Diplo & Dark Meat during their unique encounter at SXSW. Check out it for some words from Diplo & some nice in club footage.

After Diplo was nearly killed by Dark Meat’s tour bus at SXSW, the two joined forces, made some music, and played some shows in the South. True story.

This Past Weekend’s My Crew Be Unruly party in Baltimore.

Here are video clips from what was missed. Some are saying party of the year? party of the year on the East Coast? seems like something along those lines. This went on till 5am and served breakfast.

The last club set from K-Swift too. I won’t forgive myself for missing this for a long time, at least there is youtube.

R.I.P. K-Swift.

K-Swift died in an accident at a swimming pool this morning. I just found this out. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see her perform at Artscape this past weekend, but I’m sure it was great. This is a big loss for Baltimore.
