DubCNN posted an interview with Wale talking to him about all sorts of topics, most notable thing being some bits about his upcoming album.
Dubcnn: Which producers can we expect you to work with on your album? I’ve already done stuff with Just Blaze and Pharrell. Me and Just Blaze are getting close, he’s a real good dude. Pharrell is cool, DJ Toomp, and I got my people from D.C. Best Kept Secret, we did a lot of records together. It’s a lot of people that I’m looking forward to working with, it’s about being able to get with them, that’s a different story. I’d love to get with DJ Premier, but it’s not always easy to get to him.
Dubcnn: Can we expect the album to have the Go Go sound that we’ve been hearing from you? Yeah, definitely! A lot of Hip-Hop has had Go Go sounds, it’s just that people analyze it a little bit more when it’s coming from me. It’s a lot of live drums and things of that nature on the album.
Dubcnn: Do you have an estimated time frame when we can expect your album to come out? January!
Semi-late pass on these dudes (I’ve been listening to them ever since I saw the sampler on Mad Decent, just never thought to post it for w/e reason), but after HM was buggin about em when I passed on some links I had to mention it. Plus, DJ Ayres finally put out a remix, that was I was fiendin heavily for about a month (bad enough to spam the mans facebook wall, sorry Ayres!) . Sidenote: did Curren$y bite PRGz’s idea?
Y’all remember Roc C? He’s on Stones Throw but hasn’t put anything out on there since his ’06 debut. He’s always been the most “conventional” sounding rapper on there, not that that’s a bad thing.
I found this new Roc C track through Oh No’s blog (which I stumbled onto through So Much Silence). I have no idea how a song featuring two of the West Coast’s biggest up-and-comers slipped under the radar, but check it out anyway.

I guess this is a good time as any to jump on the Mickey Factz’s The Leak series considering he’s going over D’Angelo’sAfrica track off Voodoo (they’ve been piling up in my e-mail box, I promise a catch up post like reaaal soon.).
Came across this Time breakdown of Lil Wayne getting political in his raps (on Lollipop & Misunderstood), which most of you have heard. What stood out to me is Barack gave Weezy props.. when has any candidate mentioned a rapper? You already know who ML is voting for.
